UV/NH2Cl工艺是一种新兴的组合消毒方法。本研究综合分析了UV/NH2Cl工艺对铜绿假单胞菌的灭活作用,其灭活效果远优于单独使用UV或单独使用NH2Cl。更好的灭活性能是由于UV/NH2Cl过程中产生的细胞内活性氧(ROS)和活性物质,包括HO•和活性氯(RCS)。除了对数减少外,铜绿假单胞菌的灭活表现为膜通透性的增加、DNA和蛋白质的流出和降解以及细胞表面形态的破坏。此外,评估了单独UV和UV/NH2Cl工艺后的暗修复潜力,UV/NH2Cl工艺显示出更好的性能。我们还探讨了不同因素对铜绿假单胞菌灭活的影响。结果表明,铜绿假单胞菌的灭活与pH呈负相关,NH2Cl-UV的灭活效果优于UV/NH2Cl。此外,比较UV、NH2Cl和UV/NH2Cl过程中抗生素抗性基因(ARGs)的消除,发现UV/NH2Cl过程在同时去除铜绿假单胞菌和ARGs方面是非常有效的。总的来说,我们目前的研究为UV/NH2Cl工艺的潜在应用提供了许多有用的信息。
Abstract
UV/NH2Cl process is an emerging combined disinfection method. This study comprehensively analyzed the inactivation of P. aeruginosa in UV/NH2Cl process, which is much better than that of UV alone or NH2Cl alone. The better inactivation performance was resulted from the intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) and reactive species produced in UV/NH2Cl process, including HO•, and reactive chlorine species (RCS). Except for the log reduction, inactivation of P. aeruginosa was displayed through the increase of membrane permeability, effluence and degradation of DNA and proteins, and destruction of cellular surface morphology. Also, the dark repair potential after UV alone and UV/NH2Cl processes were assessed and UV/NH2Cl process showed better performance. We also explored the effects of different factors on P. aeruginosa inactivation. The results showed that there was a negative correlation between P. aeruginosa inactivation and pH, and NH2Cl-UV got better inactivation effect than UV/NH2Cl. Besides, comparing the elimination of antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) in UV, NH2Cl and UV/NH2Cl processes, it was found that UV/NH2Cl process was highly effective in simultaneous removal of P. aeruginosa and ARGs. Overall, our present study supplies much useful information for the potential application of UV/NH2Cl process.
